The organizers of the GDPR Day 2020 process your personal data to manage some aspects of the GDPR Day 2020 online conference on 25th and 26th of May.
We hereby provide the following information based on Article 12 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The online conference will be operated by OwnCube e.U acting as a processor and a tool BigBlueButton integrated on OwnCube’s servers, as mandated by the GDPR Day organizers. The conference will be broadcasted in a closed YouTube channel, available under the link for participants after registration.
The GDPR Day broadcasts audio and video from the online conference and publishes them on a closed channel in Youtube for the access of participants who cannot join the conference via the BigBlueButton tool due to technical limitations (max. 100 participants).
We will delete event material including reports and audio-video recordings, at the latest after 10 years, so that it will no longer be available online or in directly accessible file systems.
The GDPR Day will process your chat messages sent to everybody as well as the comments to the translation on YouTube to be able to reply to questions. The chat will not be recorded.
The online webinar tool, beyond video and audio footage and chat messages, collects some other pieces of your personal to be able to provide the service and monitor the utilization, performance, and availability of their tool and servers. You can find related info in the notice from OwnCube.
The lawfulness of the processing of personal data for the management of the event is based on the Article 6(1b) of the GDPR.
